Volunteers experience rewards too....

Completing the training course was both enjoyable and something to look forward to each week. It was a small friendly group where I felt accepted for who I am. Sessions were run with an emphasis on fun as well as learning.

Since becoming a Homestart volunteer I have met some wonderful families and now have something very positive to focus on. My confidence has increased helping me to move forward in a way I never imagined. Being a Homestart volunteer has definitely brought me more than I could ever give, is one of the best things I have done and something I am very grateful for.
